Before there was Château Ternier 1765, there was a builder.
For decades, Rock Ford Ternier helped shape Haiti's infrastructure, leading the construction of roads, bridges, hospitals, and public works. His work demanded precision, accountability, and a long-term commitment to quality, values that would define every chapter of his career.
In 2016, he acquired the historic Château Ternier estate in Haiti. More than a restoration project, it became the beginning of a new vision. Inspired by the estate's architecture and history, Rock imagined a wine collection that would celebrate craftsmanship, heritage, and the enduring beauty of building something meant to last.
Today, Château Ternier 1765 reflects that vision, bringing together Haitian heritage and California winemaking to create wines rooted in authenticity, purpose, and timeless craftsmanship.
